Saturday 20th June 10am-1pm
Re-made by Sam crochet classes have gone virtual!
This class will now take place via Zoom. Kits will be sent out in advance including the pattern and everything you need for the make, you will also be emailed a PDF version of the pattern. You will find Zoom class details on your receipt and I will also email an invite the day before containing a link to click on. The price includes all materials plus postage, the zoom session and a 30 minutes follow on one to one session via zoom, to be arranged at your convenience if you need it!
If you haven’t used Zoom before, don’t worry! It’s very easy and can be joined from a phone, ipad or computer. If you like you can download the app beforehand (look for ‘zoom cloud meetings’), but this is not essential as you can join without the app simply by following the link in the email I will send. The zoom programme asks to use the camera and microphone on your phone/ipad or computer and then you are ready to go.
I will be keeping these class sizes small, with a max of 4 per class so that you will all get plenty of help and we can go at your pace. It will be very laid back, just make sure you have a comfy chair, cup of tea and piece of cake at the ready!! You don’t need to stay sitting for the whole session and are welcome to go off to make a fresh cup of tea or stretch your legs!
So here’s what the class involves…
Learn how to make one of these gorgeous crochet baskets.
These lovely baskets are made using super chunky recycled t-shirt yarn and a 10 or 12mm hook so are really fun to make and work up quickly.
I’ll teach you how to work in the round using half trebles and you will have the opportunity to practise pattern reading with my guidance both in written and chart form.
You’ll receive the pattern and all the yarn you need to make your basket as part of the cost of the workshop.
You will need to provide your own 10 or 12mm crochet hook.
Please note: This class is one of our beyond beginners classes so is suitable for people with at least basic crochet experience.
