Saturday 6th July, 10am – 1pm

In this class you will work with your yarn to make a lovely, lightweight wrap for the summer. These look beautiful secured with a brooch or a flower, or even worn sarong style on the beach.

The beautiful bride pictured wore hers on her wedding day and secured it with a corsage

There are three different yarns to choose from:

Scheepjes whirl –  – made from a cotton/ acrylic mix these whirls are such fun to work with, the colour changes add an element of excitement as you work!! Your finished wrap will be soft and very drapey. These wraps are very versatile and can be worn casually or with a summer dress for a smarter occasion, they would even make a fab beach sarong!!

Cascade Heritage Silk | (£65 for the class)- – made from 85% superwash merino wool, 15% silk this yarn is beautifully soft and lovely to work with, it gives a slightly fluffier feel to the wrap and has a really nice weight and drape to it. Your finished wrap would be a stunning addition to a summer dress for an evening out.

Fyberspates Scrumptious 4ply (£80 for the class eek!) – – This is a truly luxurious yarn made from 55% wool, 45% silk, it has a soft and very silky feel to it and gives the finished wrap a beautiful silky sheen- this would be perfect for a special occasion. Karen is pictured wearing her wedding wrap made using this yarn.
